     BFPC reserves the right to refuse boarding to any pet which we feel may be disruptive to our other guests or uncontrollable by our staff.  Females in their heat cycle, dogs who bark 24 hours/day or suffer from separation anxiety and aggressive pets tend to make for a noisy,  stressful  environment.  We take great pride in having our guests enjoy a relaxing atmosphere while here.   Many dogs, whom the owners thought would be disruptive, turned out to be absolutely wonderful guests in our relaxed environment.  Please call us to discuss your individual situation.

    Boarding Rates
     
  • Dogs (base rate per day) 
  •    Single dogs $17.95* 
  •    2nd pet in same run $14.35*
  •    3rd pet in same run $12.45*
  •    4th pet in same run $12.45*

 

  • Cats - $14.95* per day (This includes daily time out of their enclosure)

     

  • Exotics - $7.50* per day

  • Additional Information on Boarding:

      Best Friend Pet Center provides a camp-like atmosphere, with all of our canine guests receiving outside activities throughout the day.  This provides them with several opportunities to relieve themselves on a natural surface where they are used to going and also reduces stress and accidents inside the kennel area.   Please visit the Exercise page to decide which activities your best friend will receive during his stay with us.  You can mix and match activities as you choose.

       

      Boarding charges will include the day of arrival, but not the last day if your pet is checked out before noon.  Holiday and Sunday checkouts, if available, will pay for that day regardless of checkout time.

       

      If your pet requires medicine and they do not take it their food or as a treat, there may be a charge of $.50 each time they require it.
       
     
      We do not charge extra to feed your pet the food you provide or a special diet.  If you forget your pet's food, we have Canidae dog and cat food available.  We have never had a problem switching a dog over to this all natural, holistic food.

       

      Like making your own hotel reservation, we also require a credit card number or prepay to enter a reservation.  Cancellation charges may apply if you do not cancel with enough notice.

       

      Minimum stay charges and holiday rates may apply during holidays and other peak times.

    Additional services

    Day Care for Dogs

    • $17.95* for daytime stays provided they fall within our normal business hours.
      • This includes 1-2 times outside in the exercise yard.  You can add additional activities if you wish.

    • Pick Up/Drop Off
         Pickup and drop off service for your pet is available most of the time. The price is $10.00 plus $.60 per mile each way.
